BUTTONS D'UNIFORMES A collection of buttons from French military and civilian uniforms, mostly from the Restoration to the Third Republic, of large module (about 20 mm in diameter), most often gilded (or made of copper or brass), in good or fairly good condition, some in duplicate, and fixed on rigid plates of 33 x 25 cm with a dark blue cloth background (not dismantled to examine their backs). Four trays : Officer's buttons of the troops of the Revolution, of the 1792 model (Infantry, Cavalry), some silvered (Light Infantry), some damaged on the back (without attachment), about 36 pieces ; another, buttons of the 1792 model, all gilded, about 36 pieces ; House of the King, Bodyguards, Grey Musketeers (1 buttons), Mister Bodyguards (4, poor condition), Imperial Guard of the Second Empire (94 pieces) ; Civil servants of authority until the IIIrd Republic: Ambassador, Prefects, etc), one of revolutionary period, various of the Restoration.
