*Centenary of the Revolution Spectacular large oval medallion, 93 x 131 mm, gilded bronze, with the effigy of Francisco de Miranda on the obverse, and the Arms of the Republic of Venezuela on the reverse, with the legend "Los Estados Unidos de Venezuela a La Republica Francesa en el Centenario de su Magna Revolution". Burnished background and matt relief with two gold colors. Chiseled frame presenting two female allegories, ties forming a ribbon knot at the top of the medallion. Presented in a large jewelry box (later) of the House of Cartier in Paris. Damage to a part of the ribbon at the top, but spectacular and very rare.
