Reprint of the plates from the illustrated edition by FRAGONARD, published in Paris by Didot l'Aîné in 1795, with an added note by Anatole de MONTAIGLON, and illustrated with 100 "estampes", 34 of which were taken from the 1795 edition. Suites (nine states), without justification. Spine faded. "Superb edition" (Rochambeau, 553-178).
