It opens with a drawer in the waist, framed by two pedestals that open with two drawers, and rests on four slightly curved legs. The canted top is upholstered in gilded fawn leather and encircled by a lingotière. Gilded bronze ornamentation, including keyhole, drawer handles and sabots.
