DAYBED - GILBERT POILLERAT (1902-1988)
Featuring a silver-patinated square iron frame with a headboard and footboard featuring openwork ogives connected by small flattened spheres; the upper section is adorned with four spheres, and the side rail features openwork bars and an oval in the center. Corner base with tapered legs ending in circular feet. Upper spheres, flattened; hollowed-out oval; and base accented with gilding.
Oxidation, small scratches, and soiling 
H 108 cm - L 194 cm - Depth: 94 cm

Included are: a mattress, a box spring, cushions, and a backrest upholstered in blue fabric. Tears in the fabric and small stains. 

History: A similar model was exhibited at the 1953 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs.
