Alongside his work as an architect, he regularly exhibited drawings and watercolors at the Salon des Artistes Français, reflecting his deep attachment to the architectural heritage and landscapes of the Blois region. This interest in enhancing the region’s beauty is also evident in his pamphlet *Ce qu’on aurait pu faire à Blois depuis cinquante ans* (1915), in which he reflects on the city’s planning and beautification. However, beyond this attention to detail—a trait inherited from his profession—he also painted landscapes, paying particular attention to light and the natural atmosphere.
