London, Printed for Samuel Bagster, 1808. 2 parts in one volume in-8°, blue half-maroquin with corners, gilt fillet edging the boards, ribbed spine decorated with personalized irons, gilt edges (Baynton. Binder Bath Eng). "With the Lives of the Authors: and Notes, Historical, Critical, Supplementary, and Explanatory; by Sir John HAWKINS, Knt." One engraved faux-title; two portrait plates, & fifteen engraved plates by AUDINET (including two of musical scores), some dated 1809; engravings in text. First spine rubbed; some light foxing. FIRST EDITION GIVEN BY SAMUEL BAGSTER "Printed by C. Mercier and Co. King's Head Passage, St. Paul's Church-yard." . This other print has many passages recomposed from the one given by "Mercier and Cheret". Westwood & Satchell, 296-300.
