ORIGINAL EDITION & FIRST PRINTING of this illustrated life of Saint Bernard by the Cistercians of the Abbey of Sainte-Marie de Baudeloo. A title-frontispiece, a portrait of Livinus Ventkens, abbot of Sainte-Marie de Baudeloo, to whom the work is dedicated, and 53 figures. Short-margined copy at the head of the volume; some soiling and foxing; handwritten bookplate stained in the margin of the title-frontispiece.
