In-4° (222 x 285 mm), red morocco, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, ornate ribbed spine, gilt edges (period binding).

A portrait of Prince Jean Guillaume de NASSAU engraved by Van GUNST, after B. VAILLANT, folded. VAILLANT, folded, a title-frontispiece engraved by BOUTATS after J. GOEREE, a fleuron on the title, six vignettes including a dedication with the Nassau arms, eighteen plates with six medallions engraved by Van VIANEN, nine lettrines and 31 culs-de-lampe.
Minor damage restored to the margins of leaves D4, N3 and Ff3 and to the folds of the portrait; plates 1 and 7 reenlarged; quire N reddened, but,
