In-4°, blue-gray morocco, large mosaic floral decoration with two nude women in medallions decorating the boards, ribbed spine decorated with the same, gilt edges on witness, fawn morocco lining decorated with a mosaic floral frame, illustrated silk endpapers, cover and spine preserved, slipcase (G. Levitzky). Thirteen etchings by Alméry LOBEL-RICHE, including a frontispiece portrait of the author. Edition of 500 copies, this one (no. 57), one of 30 on Arches vellum, containing an ADDITIONAL STATEMENT OF THE ILLUSTRATIONS WITH REMARKS. Minor foxing. A FINE COPY IN A MOSAIC BINDING BY GREGOIRE LEVITZKY.
