In-4°, mitered, gray buffalo, wide geometric mosaic decoration of wood and leather listels in various colors on boards, smooth spine decorated with the same, green and tan buffalo lining and endpapers, untrimmed, illustrated cover and spine preserved, box with tan half-buffle case and wooden boards (Godelieve - 2000). 39 woodcuts by Pierre BOUCHET after Paul JOUVE, including ten full-page, some in color. Issued in an edition of 122 copies on Arches vellum, this one (no. 58) printed for M. le Baron Robert de Rothschild. Enriched with TWO ORIGINAL COLOR DRAWINGS, one signed "P. J.". (culs-de-lampe, bound pp. 51 & 171). Slight foxing on cover. A FINE COPY BOUND IN MOSAIC BUFFALO BY GODELIEVE.
