Large in-4°, navy-blue morocco, wide personalized gilded fillet decoration with mosaic mother-of-pearl and morocco pieces adorning the boards, smooth spine decorated with the same, gilded edges, garnet-red moiré silk lining and endpapers, illustrated cover and spine preserved, case (J. Anthoine Legrain). Etchings by Raoul DUFY, including sixteen hors texte. 390 copies, this one (no. 228), one of 245 on Arches vellum. The dust jacket is missing; the slipcase is split; a few freckles on the flyleaf, title leaf and flyleaf. COPY IN AN ORNATE MOSAIC MOROCCO BINDING BY JACQUES ANTHOINE-LEGRAIN.
