In-4° (266 x 230 mm) orange morocco, broadly decorated with two sets of brown circles and gilded lozenges separated vertically by three fillets adorning the boards, ornate smooth spine, gilded edges on witness, orange silk lining and endpapers, illustrated covers in color preserved, case (G. Cretté successor to Marius Michel). Numerous color woodcuts by Pierre BOUCHET after George BARBIER, including thirteen hors-texte. Printed at 120 copies on Rives vellum, this one no. 1. A VERY FINE FIRST COPY IN A MOROCCO BINDING BY GEORGES CRETTÉ.
