Large in-8° green morocco, broad mosaic floral framing decor on covers, double ribbed spine decorated in the same style, gilt edges, orange morocco lining decorated with mosaic cat heads, red, black and green brocaded silk endpapers, color illustrated covers and spine preserved, green half-maroquin flap folder (Ch. Meunier. 98). FIRST EDITION. Eight colored engraved plates by Félicien ROPS; colored title-frontispiece by Charles-Louis KRATKÉ; vignettes and floral ornaments framing each page by Léon RUDNICKI; colored cover by Georges de FEURE. Edition of 183 copies, this one (no. 11) on japon. Enriched with an additional state of the engravings by ROPS before the letter and with remarks; the ORIGINAL SIGNED AQUARELLE of the title-frontispiece, & a second state before the letter of the latter.
