PAUL FOLLOT (1877-1941) Square-bodied box in alternating birch and rosewood band veneer, top flap with conical grip revealing an interior with four removable compartments (small jolts, wear and accidents). Minor veneer chips and wear. Height 14 cm - Length 16 cm - Depth 16 cm Provenance: former Paul Follot collection, now in the family. History: our box is featured in a period photograph by Pierre Jahan showing the salon of Paul Follot's private mansion at 5, rue Victor Schoelcher (Paris, XIVe).
