• Browse the online catalog to find lots that interest you. Make a note of the lot numbers, descriptions, and estimated prices.
• Contact us by email (info@libert-associes.com) or phone (01 48 24 51 20) if you’d like additional information: condition reports, certificates, provenance, photos, etc.
• Attend the public preview and set a maximum budget for each lot that interests you.
Bidding
There are several ways to bid:
• Come to the Hôtel Drouot and bid in the auction room to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the auction hall
• Register to bid by phone at contact@libertetassocies.com
• Register to bid via the Live auction
• Submit a maximum bid via info@libert-associes.com
Pay for and enjoy your purchase
• Pay for your purchase (bank transfer or online credit card payment recommended).
In addition to the winning bid amount, the successful bidder must pay the following fees and taxes per lot: - 30% including tax - 5.5% additional fee for temporary import tax, for lots whose numbers are preceded by an asterisk.
In certain cases, these fees may be refunded to the buyer.
- Fees payable by successful bidders in the live auction are increased by 1.5% excluding tax (i.e., 1.8% including tax).
Payment must be made in cash for the full amount, including fees and taxes. Since the sale is subject to the margin scheme (Art. 297-A of the CGI), the sales receipt provided to the winning bidder will not show any recoverable VAT.
• You may then pick up your lot in exchange for the payment receipt. It is also possible to arrange for a carrier to pick it up.

How do you sell at auction?
Including a Work in an Auction
• We regularly hold auctions at Drouot, including both general and specialized sales, depending on the occasion. All of these sales are listed in an online catalog and may also be accompanied by a printed catalog.
• To submit lots for an auction, simply contact the firm
to request an appraisal or a pre-sale inventory. The auction house is at your disposal to answer your questions and advise you throughout the process.
The Sales Agreement
• After requesting an appraisal of your items and deciding to offer them for auction, a sales agreement is entered into between the seller and OVV Damien LIBERT
, specifying the sales fees and, if applicable, the reserve price below which the seller does not wish to part with the property.
Payment
The seller is paid within the legal timeframe of 2 months via bank transfer as soon as LIBERT Auction House has been paid by the buyer.
Inventory
What Is an Inventory?
An inventory is a description and appraisal of your personal property. Whether you need one for estate planning, family property divisions, insurance contracts, tax returns, in-kind payments, gifts, or simply to appraise a collection of personal property, LIBERT Auction House conducts these inventories throughout France. The inventory is conducted in complete confidentiality by an auctioneer and is documented in an official report that will be provided to you.
The inventory is provided free of charge if it is conducted for the purpose of a sale;
otherwise, it is accompanied by a fee statement calculated based on the value of the inventory.
