- Pay for your purchase (bank transfer or online payment by credit card recommended).
In addition to the amount of the bid, the successful bidder must pay the following fees and taxes per lot: - 30% inclusive of tax - 5.5% temporary import tax for lots with an asterisk.
In certain cases, these costs may be reimbursed to the buyer.
- The costs payable by the successful live bidders are increased by 1.5% excluding VAT (i.e. 1.8% including VAT).
Payment must be made in cash for the full price, including fees and taxes. As the sale is subject to the margin system (art. 297-A of the General Tax Code), the sales slip given to the winning bidder will not show any recoverable VAT.
- You can then collect your lot in exchange for the payment slip. It is also possible to appoint a courier.

How to sell at auction?

Vendre

We regularly organise categorised auctions at Drouot :
either general sales or specialised sales.

All of the sales are featured in an online catalogue
and can also be accompanied by a printed catalogue.

In order to submit lots into a sale, you need only contact the study
and request an expert assessment or an inventory with a view to sell.

The study is available to answer any questions that you may have and to advise you in your sales venture.

After requesting an expert assessment of your goods and deciding to present these goods at auction,
a sales contract is completed between the seller and the voluntary sales operator, Damien LIBERT,
which outlines the sales fees and the reserve price, below which the seller does not wish to part with the lot.

The seller's payment is carried out by cheque or bank transfer
within two months from the date that the seller makes a deal with Damien LIBERT.

Inventory

Inventaire

What is an inventory?

The inventory corresponds to the description and evaluation of your movable goods.

Whether you need us regarding inheritance, family distribution agreements,
insurance contracts, tax statements, acceptance in lieu, donations
,
or simply for the evaluation of a furniture collection,
the Libert auction house carries out these inventories throughout the whole of France.

The inventory is undertaken in absolute confidentiality by an auctioneer
and is considered to be part of an official document that will be returned to you.

The inventory is completed free of charge if carried out for sales purposes.
If this is not the case, it is then accompanied by a fee-slip
that is calculated on the basis of the cost of the inventory.
