Damien Libert, a judicial and voluntary auctioneer, joined the family firm—founded by his father, Étienne, in 1950—in 1976. For nearly five decades, he has passionately and diligently upheld the values of excellence and integrity for which Libert & Associates is renowned. As President of the Paris Chamber of Judicial Auctioneers and an active member of numerous art associations, Maître Damien Libert is deeply committed to promoting and defending his profession. His expertise, recognized in both the artistic and legal spheres, combined with a thorough understanding of the art market, ensures that the firm’s clients receive exceptional support. Possessing rare human qualities, he pays particular attention to the sensitive matters of estate division and inheritance, offering personalized and compassionate support—a hallmark of his practice.

A voluntary and judicial auctioneer and certified gemologist, Pauline Libert brilliantly embodies the heritage and modernity of Maison Libert. As the daughter and granddaughter of auctioneers, she grew up in the legendary halls of the Hôtel Drouot, developing an early passion for exceptional objects. After gaining formative experience working with a cabinetmaker in the Faubourg and a painting restorer, she rounded out her education with degrees in Law from Panthéon-Assas University and in Art History from the Sorbonne and the École du Louvre. Armed with this dual expertise in law and the arts, she joined the family firm in 2012 and became a partner with her father in 2020. Driven by undeniable human qualities, a sincere passion, and a constant commitment to excellence, Pauline infuses the firm with her contemporary vision and invaluable energy, ensuring the continued influence and longevity of Maison Libert while preserving the heritage and values that have built its reputation.

A certified auctioneer since 2012, Astrid joined the Libert auction house as a partner in 2023. With degrees in law and art history, she developed a passion for the profession after an initial internship at Drouot, which introduced her to the multifaceted world of auctions and its various players. After several internships at Christie’s, Neret-Minet, Doutrebente, and Jakobowicz & Associés, she joined the Tajan auction house in 2013 as a specialist in furniture and objets d’art, as well as old master paintings and drawings, and later took over as head of the Books and Manuscripts department. It was during this decade that she refined her appreciation for goldsmithing and Italian Mannerism and deepened her general knowledge.
