The two scenes shown on this pair of vases "gu" decor enamel " wucai " is derived from the Three Kingdoms , a historical novel written by Luo Guanzhong in the fourteenth century . His story is on the end of the Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms period . One of the vases is Guanyu soldiers and Zhang Fei, who defended 184 in the Han court to face the revolt of the Yellow Turbans . They face here Cao Cao , the prime minister who had betrayed the Emperor. Another vase shows Zhuge Liang, the quarterback who began their service to restore the Han Dynasty . 12 000/15 estimated € 000 and appraised by Porter & Associates , this pair of vases in porcelain Kangxi period ( 1662-1722 ) appears in Libert sale on Friday June 17 at Drouot in room 16 at 14 pm 45 .
